Woman accused in St. Louis school bus attack with box cutter
ST. LOUIS (AP) — A 27-year-old St. Louis woman is accused of playing a role in a box cutter attack that injured two students on a school bus last month.
KMOV-TV reports that 27-year-old Brittni Clayton is charged with first-degree assault, armed criminal action, first-degree child endangerment, third-degree assault and exhibiting a weapon.
St. Louis' school district reports that the Oct. 26 attack left a male student with a puncture wound on his back and a female student with a cut hand. Both students were 16 and treated at a hospital.
The district says the bus pulled over to let students off when three adults boarded the bus and assaulted the two students.
Online court records don't show whether Clayton has an attorney.
Police say the investigation continues.
