Woman Accused of Running Down Boyfriend
FOLEY (AP) - An eastern Missouri woman is accused of running down her boyfriend while her two children were inside the car.
Kathryn M. Vigil of Foley was charged Monday with first-degree domestic assault. She is jailed on $50,000 cash-only bond.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department says the boyfriend told them he and Vigil fought Sunday after he saw her punch his 3-year-old son. The boyfriend and the boy went to a neighbor's home.
Authorities say Vigil loaded her two children into the vehicle and drove to the neighbor's home.The boyfriend stood in front of the vehicle to stop it, but it allegedly struck him. He was able to get away and remove the keys.
Deputies say the children were living in deplorable conditions. All three are in foster care.
