Woman arrested on suspicion of sharing nude photo without permission
CALIFORNIA - Prosecutors charged a woman on Wednesday after her arrest on suspicion of posting private photos of another woman.
Doloris Miller, 46, faces one count of nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images, and one count of threatening nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images.
According to probable cause statement filed by the Moniteau County Sheriff's Department, a woman told deputies Miller sent Facebook messages, exchanged between the woman and her boyfriend, to several people. The messages, some of which were sexually explicit, included photos of the woman's body, clothed and unclothed. They also had the woman's first and last name at the top. The woman said Miller further threatened to send the images "all over California."
When deputies talked to Miller, they said she admitted to getting onto the boyfriend's account, finding the messages and photos and sending them without consent. Miller also told them she believed the messages and photos were only meant to be shared between the woman and boyfriend, and that she sent them to show the woman "was not a good person."
No court date for Miller has been set.
