Woman Makes Fourth St. Louis Heat Related Death
ST. LOUIS (AP) -- An 86-year-old woman is the fourth person in St. Louis to die from the heat this year.
The city Health Department says the woman was found in her home on Saturday. The home had window air conditioners but they were not working properly.
The victim's name was not released.
So far this year, 18 deaths in Missouri are suspected to be heat-related -- four in St. Louis and 14 in the Kansas City area.
