First Alert Forecast
Clear skies will continue through the overnight hours, but winds will be out of the warm weather direction (the south) at 8-12MPH. This wind, will help keep temperatures on the warmer side in the low to mid 40s which is very seasonal for this time of the year.
The Week Ahead will start sunny with highs in the upper 60s, nearing the 70 degree mark for portions of the region. This warm up will be short lived because a weak cold front will move through the region Monday evening, shifting winds out of the north allowing for slightly cooler temperatures to move back into the region. This front will lack moisture, so rain is not expected with this system.
Abundant sunshine will continue for Tuesday with highs back in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
This cooling trend will continue into Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the middle to lower 50s and extra cloud cover that starts to build across the area Wednesday night.
Friday looks dry at this point with highs in the upper 50s. Slight chances of rain return to the forecast as we head into next weekend.
