First Alert Forecast
This system that brought us rain last night will move further east today, leaving overcast skies and sprinkles/drizzle. A few more showers are possible through the day, mainly in the afternoon/evening for areas south and east of Columbia. Cloud cover will keep temperatures fairly steady through the day with highs only reaching the lower to middle 40s.
Sprinkles and drizzle will remain possible for the evening with temperatures holding in the upper 30s. Cloud cover will slowly break apart overnight, but before that happens we could see some very patchy freezing drizzle late Friday night/ early Saturday morning. This potential will be very patchy and short lived. Impacts are not expected.
Saturday and Sunday will feature a mix of sunshine and cloud cover with dry conditions and temperatures near 30° in the mornings and temps near 50° for the afternoons. These highs are around 10° above average for this time of the year.
This above average and dry forecast will continue through most of next week.
