Clouds will increase overnight as weak moisture from Texas pushes into the central US. Temperatures will cool down into the middle 40s around midnight and warm into the upper 40s by sunrise Friday.
Showers will pass through the area on Friday, mainly in the morning and early afternoon. Most areas will experience less than a quarter-inch of rainfall accumulation, with the best chance south of I-70. Clouds will remain through the evening, but rain will push out by mid-afternoon leaving mid-Missouri dry for Friday evening festivities.
The weekend looks sunny with varying temperatures. Saturday will be windy with gusts up to 40 mph and highs around 60. Sunday morning will be cold with lows around 30, bringing another hard freeze to the area. Sunday will only warm into the middle 50s. We should start next week with highs back in the 60s. Our next best chance for rain isn't until the end of next week.
