FRIDAY

Overall, 0.5-1.5" rainfall is expected. However, due to the rain and the additional water from the melting snow and ice, and an already saturated ground, areal flooding will be possible Friday night and Saturday morning.

Freezing rain will continue for the next several hours and slick spots will continue through the the early evening. Overall, we expect 0.10" ice for most locations and up to 0.25". A note that ice is ice and it doesn't matter if there is 0.10" ice on the road/sidewalk or 0.25" ice...it will lead to the same result of...ice.

Late afternoon and early evening, between 3PM-8PM we will see the transition to rain across central Missouri. As this transition happens, we will see road conditions improving.Overall, 0.5-1.5" rainfall is expected. SATURDAY

Rain will wrap up in the morning as cooler and drier air filters in. A few morning sprinkles and flurries will be possible. Afternoon temperatures will be in the lower 30s.

It will be very windy with gusts around 40 mph.

Partly to mostly sunny. Highs in the middle 20s. Overnight lows will fall into the single digits with wind chills below zero.

MONDAY

Partly sunny with highs in the low to middle 20s. Overnight lows will fall into the lower 10s.

TUESDAY

Sunny, with highs in the middle 30s. Overnight lows will fall into the middle 20s.

WEDNESDAY

Mostly cloudy and warmer, with highs in the upper 30s and lower 40s. There is a slight chance for rain.

THURSDAY

Rain is possible. Highs in the upper 30s to near 40. There is also a chance for snow to mix in, so make sure to stay updated as more details become known.
