CENTRALIA - Late Tuesday evening Centralia Mayor, Tim Grenke, and the Board of Alderman concluded their investigation into allegations against Chief of Police Larry Dudgeon.

Grenke announced a unanimous vote to keep the Chief saying they, "found no reason to remove" Dudgeon and, "the City also finds no reason to reconsider any past personal actions."

Allegations against Dudgeon included wrongful firings of several police officers and sexual harrasment of a police department employee. Centralia residents made many of the accusations after the termination of the the Assistant Police Chief Paul Morgan last Monday.

Community members were largely split on what to do with the Chief.

Dudgeon took the position in 2007.
