Christopher Hurt Pre-Trial Rescheduled for July
COLUMBIA - The preliminary hearing for Christopher Hurt, one of the men linked to the murder of Brian Daniels, is rescheduled for July 24th when Hurt can gather money for court service fees.
Daniels was murdered on April 9, 2013.
Hurt is facing charges of hindering the prosecution of a felony in allegedly giving false statements to authorities in connection to the same murder.
Hindering the prosecution of a felony is a Class D felony, which could result in up to four years in prison.
James Thompson is charged with first degree murder for allegedly killing Daniels. Glenn Anderson is also charged with involvement in the murder. Anderson is charged with hindering the prosecution of a felony. Authorities said Anderson provided a false alibi for Thompson.
Anderson's hearing is set for Friday, June 28.
