COLUMBIA - With cold weather on days like Thursday, protecting yourself from the elements is important.

Columbia's Community Development Department will hold an interested parties meeting at City Hall Thursday to conduct a survey to find out the most popular locations for bus shelters in the Columbia.

The survey involves 10 possible locations around the city. Those who vote are asked to vote for their top three choices.

The city is expected to install up to 30 bus shelters along routes this year. Thursday's meeting is set to start around 5:30 p.m. and last until 6:30 p.m.

Those interested in voting who can't make it to the meeting can submit their vote online. You can find a link to the survey page here.
