Columbia Hosts Expanded Artrageous Weekend
COLUMBIA- Downtown Columbia will host its largest Artrageous Weekend in the event's five-year history. This year about 40 businesses and organizations in downtown and North Village are participating in the event October 7-9.
Kate Gunn is the executive director of Artrageous Weekend (and Artrageous Fridays). She said the event has really grown in the five years of its existence. Gunn also said there will be a wide variety of art exhibits going on from live music and dancing, to art spectators can interact with.
This weekend is the last Artrageous Weekend for the year. Artrageous Fridays will resume near the end of January. The event is free and starts at 6 o'clock Friday evening and runs through Sunday afternoon.
