Jefferson City Lawmakers have less than two days to pass legislation in this session. At 6 p.m. Friday, the 2011 legislative session officially ends.
Two bills made headway on Wednesday and only require another vote in the House before the Governor can approve them.
One bill lowers the age requirement for a concealed carry permit in the state of Missouri. The senate voted 27-6 on Wednesday to lower the age to 21.
Another bill requires any student athelete who might have a concussion to sit out for 24 hours and get a doctor's note before they can return to the playing field. This bill also passed the senate, with a 33 to 1 vote.
It is unclear whether or not another bill that would require everyone taking the Missouri drivers test to do so in English will come up again before the session ends.
