Deputies Seize Meth, Cash and Stolen Property in Russellville
RUSSELLVILLE - Cole County Sheriff's deputies released new information Friday about an arrest they made for drug trafficking after a raid at a Russellville home Thursday night. Deputies arrested one person, but had not released his name as of noon Friday.
Cole County Sheriff Captain John Wheeler said deputies seized 632 grams of crystal meth, numerous weapons, $15,000 cash, two trucks and a stolen vehicle during the search of a Minnie Drive home Thursday night.
Wheeler said the meth is valued at approximately $82,000.
Deputies, along with the MUSTANG Drug Task Force and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives, arrived at around 6:30 p.m.
The ATF has taken over the investigation, but had not released more information as of early Friday afternoon.
The suspect was awaiting formal charges at the Cole County Jail Friday afternoon.
