Driver extricated from crashed car on Highway 63

BOONE COUNTY - A driver had to be pulled from a car after a crash Wednesday morning on Highway 63.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Sergeant Scott White said the vehicle was traveling southbound when it went off the right side of the road. MSHP received a phone call about the accident at 8:45 a.m. 

MSHP Trooper Brandon Harris confirmed that Columbia Fire Department extricated the driver from the vehicle. The driver was transported to the University of Missouri Hospital. 

MSHP Sergeant David Rudloff said troopers are still investigating the cause of the car accident.
