Evacuated Locations Secured in Boston
BOSTON - Employees have returned to the Federal Court House in Boston after they were evacuated earlier Tuesday afternoon.
Officials said a bomb threat caused the evacuation that forced several hundred people to wait outside for hours while police searched the area.
Police bomb squad came with sniffing dogs. They were assisted by heavy armed officers. Homeland Security and at sea Coast Guard boats established a security zone.
None of the employees KOMU 8 News spoke to were willing to go on camera for an interview. They said they had been instructed not to talk to press. Several of them said they had been evacuated on a so called "Code Red".
Another evacuation happened in another part of Boston at the Brigham and Womens Hospital. That place has also been secured.
