OSAGE COUNTY - Flood waters still covered roads in Osage County on Sunday from heavy rains earlier in the week.

Water from the Gasconade River still completely covers part of Route N between Highway 50 and Route J, near Freedom and Hope. Flooding reached the bottom of street signs at some points.

The Nolting family lives on Route N between Freedom and Hope. Jeff Nolting said flood waters completely surrounded his house. The family cannot drive to their house and instead had to take a boat to church Sunday morning.

Flood waters are beginning to recede, and the family said it hopes to start cleaning up and returning to normal daily life soon.
