COLUMBIA - It's week two of Friday Night Fever, and the rainy weather has not dampened any mid-Missouri football team's hopes Friday evening.
In the FNF Game of the Week, the Hickman Kewpies face the Helias Crusaders. Both teams won their season game openers on the road with new head coaches.
Last season, the Crusaders had an overall record of 6-6 and the Kewpie's record was 1-9.

Fayette Falcons score again on another recovery from the kickoff. It’s odd for 2 consecutive onside kicks to be successful but that’s what we just saw tonight, and another 2 point conversion, makes it 32-8 over the Scotland County Tigers. @KOMUsports pic.twitter.com/6JhTIuz9o5— Garrett Bridges (@gcbridges7) September 1, 2018
The Falcons of Fayette scores again to make it 24-8 with another 2 point conversion converted. Tough game for Scotland County after a fumble on the kickoff gives the Falcons that opportunity to score. @KOMUsports pic.twitter.com/KRH1hOBz0j— Garrett Bridges (@gcbridges7) September 1, 2018

The Fayette Falcons up on the Scotland County Tigers 16-8 at half. However a dropped TD pass could have extended that lead. Could hurt the Falcons going into the second half. @KOMUsports pic.twitter.com/ECVLx9DasZ— Garrett Bridges (@gcbridges7) September 1, 2018

With 15 minutes to go until kickoff there’s a double rainbow above the 50 yard line. Game between the Moberly Spartans and Fort Osage Indians looks to be a rainy game. @KOMUsports pic.twitter.com/k3DDyKh0eN— Marcus Thomas (@mtlefty2) September 1, 2018
Holden runs it in from the one yard line on 4th down to give the Pirates the lead. However, the extra point was dropped by the holder, and it’s 6-0 Pirates here in Boonville. @KOMUsports pic.twitter.com/mbVWMzpvip— Garrett Bridges (@gcbridges7) September 1, 2018
