Fulton Dog Ordiance Committe Talks About Possible Changes
FULTON - The new animal control ordinance committee met Thursday morning to discuss possible changes to make to the current ordinance. The committee was formed four weeks ago in response to the second dog biting in the city.
Some of the items that were discussed:
-Licensing for dogs
The committee will continue to meet on Thursdays at 10 a.m. until it can decide on what recommendations to make to the city council. After it decides on the recommendations, the committee will pass the information off to the city attorney. Then, it will be presented to the community at town hall meetings where residents will be able to voice their opinions on the possible changes.
