Missouri football holds second scrimmage

COLUMBIA- Two weeks before its first game against an actual opponent, the Missouri Tigers football team got some more game action in its second scrimmage of the offseason on Saturday.

After losing the first one, the offense used a late rally to beat the defense 11-9 in this scrimmage. 

The defense was dominant for most of the day, but the offense tallied six of its seven touchdowns against the second and third-string defenses en route to the victory. 

Quarterback Maty Mauk went 8-20 on the day with 103 yards through the air. 

The team is off on Sunday but will get back to practice on Monday.
