Person taken to hospital with serious injuries after Boone County crash
BOONE COUNTY - One person was extricated from a vehicle and taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a car crash on Tom Bass Road near Highway 63 on Saturday afternoon, Trooper Nicholas March with the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
March said a white Dodge pickup was driving northbound on Tom Bass Road and a blue Chevrolet pickup was turning left onto Highway 63. The Chevrolet failed to yield at a stop sign and pulled into the path of the Dodge pickup around 1:30 p.m., according to the crash report.
Someone in the blue pickup truck was taken to the hospital and was the only one in that vehicle, March said. Three people were in the white pickup truck and none were taken to the hospital, he said.
