Shots fired in north Columbia

COLUMBIA — The Columbia Police Department responded at 8:16 p.m. Saturday to a shooting outside of a home at 2800 Isherwood Drive after learning that a male subject, 58, arrived to a local hospital by personal vehicle with a life threatening gunshot wound.

Detectives found shell casings in the back of the residence and they are still looking for the shooter. Nobody was inside the home at the time of the shooting.

Police have not released any details about the suspect and the investigation is ongoing.
