Timberwolves Reportedly Interview Snyder for Head Coaching Position
COLUMBIA - Former Missouri basketball coach Quin Snyder is reportedly in the running for the Minnesota Timberwolves head coaching position.
Snyder resigned his position as the head coach of the Tigers in 2006, only to take the same position with the NBA Developmental League's Austin Toros. This past season, Snyder was an assistant to Philadelphia 76ers head coach Doug Collins.
Timberwolves general manager David Kahn hired Snyder to coach in Austin, which could give Snyder a slight edge despite little NBA coaching experience. Snyder is also considering an offer as an assistant for the Los Angeles Lakers.
