COLUMBIA - Columbia Public Works Engineers tonight lead a public discussion of new projects for GetAboutColumbia. The public hearing is set for 6 p.m. at the ARC. It's all about more walking and biking options.
GetAboutColumbia is in its second round of improvements. This round of projects is ranked 1 to 19 in order of importance -- the the first five have already been approved by Columbia City Council. Columbia Public Works sent out a survey Wednesday asking residents to pick their top five projects. The city has $2.6 million left to complete these projects.
These include things like an improvement to the County House Trial west, sidewalks in Clark Lane, West Boulevard, and improvements to bike lanes on Nifong and Providence.
