Wanted Columbia man arrested in New York on multiple warrants
COLUMBIA - New York State Police arrested wanted suspect Keith Brodie in Syracuse Monday morning.
Brodie, 41, is on Missouri’s most wanted list with outstanding warrants in Missouri and New Jersey.
Earlier this year, Brodie was a suspect in an officer-involved shooting that took place on Nebo Cemetery Road and Route UU in Columbia. The same day, Brodie hit a CPD officer with his truck as he fled the scene in the 3700 block of Rollins Road.
In Missouri, Brodie has warrants for burglary in the first degree, assault in the second degree and unlawful use of a weapon and resisting arrest.
Brodie is wanted for a violation of a court order and stalking under the State of New Jersey’s criminal code.
According to the release, as a fugitive from justice, Brodie may be arrested and charged with the crimes that come from the out-of-state jurisdictions in the state of New York.
Police said Brodie will be held with no bond in the Onondaga County Justice Center in New York with possible full extradition.
