This evening, there's the potential for a few isolated showers and storms in mid-Missouri. The main rain chance comes overnight into early Thursday morning.
Strong storms possibleÂ
We will be in Storm Mode 2 because there could be some issues and you'll want to stay updated.
The main threat will be winds upwards of 60 mph, but the threat of hail and spin-up tornadoes is low but not zero.
These storms will enter mid-MO just before midnight and will exit before the morning commute.Â
Storms are expected to weaken as they move southeast, but heavy pockets of rain will still be possible.
Halloween forecast
The rest of the Halloween forecast is looking more like a treat than a trick. Temperatures will be cooler in the upper 50s and lower 60s, but it'll be dry! For trick-or-treaters, temperatures will likely drop into the 40s.
8-day forecast
Temperatures rebound to the 60s on Friday before more rain chances this weekend. We are looking more active heading into early next week.
